You should put more info on the website about the Bolton ski tour. What skis are recommended, skinies or metal-edged? Need skins? Will this be a set track? How much vertical? What sort of terrain?

Hi Bob – Thanks for your post. I think a lot of this info is on the site. I’ll try to provide a few links, but if you still think more info needs to go up, drop me an email or call.
I’d start by checking out our ski website here: http://vycc.org/home/ski.html. There is also a link to this site if you scroll up.
Once you get there, check out the route description link. Also, the waiver and key info has links to recommended equipment (& other important info). With good wax and/or waxless skis, I don’t think you’ll need skins. I’d did the route on Rossi BC skis that have NNNBC bindings. Metal edges are a must.
Again, thanks for your input and do let me know if you have other questions. My direct number is 434-3969 ext. 110 and my email is breck.knauft@vycc.org.
